As a new member I feel very tentative. However, I'll take a shot. I've been working on a historical fiction series for a few years and have four novels completed and available through Smashwords.com. The series builds around the first four years of WW 2 during which the Americans began stealing the British Empire, but not yet the history of the period.

Russell Stonechild, a young Cree from Northern Saskatchewan, Canada, is the main character. With a fur trapping, trading background and a flair for languages Russell answers a recruiter's ad for a private Scots regiment just before Hitler attacks Poland and Britain declares war.
