Often, with the meatgrinder books, it's easiest to simply delete the CSS file entirely. sure, you miss a few fonts and bold/italics disappear (as they aren't well done when added), but at least you can read the book.
Otherwise, I wonder if simply deleting most of the CSS entries would work (and leave only italic and bold commands) best.
