I am running Windows &, and cannot get the links in the Calibre2Opds catalog to work. Oh well. I have now tried installing the dropbox app on various devices and the links don't work within dropbox, either.

Here is the strangest. I can access dropbox from my Tab, and email a mobi file to my Fire. Great. But if I do the same thing on my Fire, and hit download, it downloads, but then says it cannot open the file. I have tried emailing it, but it looks like it is downloading, and then says File Expert has stopped working. Do people have something special to read mobi files installed on their kindles to handle this? And forget K4-the browser is so bad, I couldn't even get into drop box.

So, how do people download books from dropbox onto their kindle fire, all on the kindle fire?
