Think I need a little Java/Windows 7 help

As you may know, Java doesn't come with Windows 7. I have to run a remote desktop connection through Java VM, so I downloaded and installed Java and the appropriate plug-ins for IE.

When I try to get the url for my catalog, I get directed to a place with script, and a download button at the top. If I enter the url for the script, it won't take. If I download, I get the pretty catalog, but can't get a url.

It appears Java is not playing nicely with Calibre2Opds. I went to the Calibre2Opds site, and followed the instructions for adding Java to the path. I did it from scratch, as administrator, and it shows up in System Variables, but when I run set path, I don't see it. I am going nuts! Here is what I put in for path, and it is correct C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6 Do you see anything out of the ordinary?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Debra
