Some of the things are already there.
I especially agree with the multicolor/multigray feature - I'm missing that one as well... and looking at the code, I really get the impression that it should be easy to add (pdf-tools gets a - float - grayscale level information, and there are macros defined for multiple grayscale levels... it seems merely disabled by removing the icons from the menu). If I had to guess as to why, I'd say that pdf_tools is the problem - in my (still halfhearted - I'm lacking time
) attempts to convince it to translate things into different colors, I always end up with black (and I remember some users complaining that their white comments turn out black in merged documents)... so apparently their pdf_tools source is broken in some way...
...so if Onyx could _enable_ this feature - say in a beta firmware - the developer community could (and would) try to hack something with pdf_tools (hint hint to Booxtor
)
But out of curiosity: Do you have calibration problems? It works (very near) perfect for me...
