When you hear of multiple returns/free replacements of the 6" Kindles because of eInk screen problems, which in reality are the users' fault because of inadvertant pressure applied to the screen, ya gotta think that the more fragile 9" DXes see even more returns.
Then there's the high cost of the screens and resultant high price, resulting in consumer complaints: "Where's the wi-fi? Where's the speed? Why so much for just a couple more inches?"
