updating the source for a book

I convert "books" that get frequent updates, especially spelling and formatting. If I add a book, edit metadata and convert it, it transfers to my Kindle just fine.

The problem: If I edit the source file (book.html) how can I get Calibre to recognize the source changed and reconvert the book? I currently have to delete the book in the Calibre library and readd the book. I'm just looking for a shortcut. The source file is frequently kept on a thumb drive or in my dropbox.com account until it's finalized many revisions later.

Am I storing the original source files in the wrong locations?

Help?

Thank you!
