This is pretty typical of pricing at B&N, sadly.
Books a million and Sony, too, just as with Borders before they failed. It's one reason they all loved agency pricing (but failed to understand the concept of scaling up sales by several order of magnitude by pricing where books aren't just for the wealthy).
