In the original draft of my post, I had started this long-winded metaphor about how writing is like food: while they can be enjoyable as an occasional treat,
one cannot live off a diet of just Chicken Nugget novels. I went on for quite some time with various food metaphors until I realized that I was actually just hungry and should go eat breakfast.
