I just got a sony netbook for home use (Expensive yes, but it looks shiny - Ok, so it also had the best specs of any netbook in the store) the demo software was no worse than the dell laptops I get for work but it is a very nice machine.

In fact the only laptop I have got recently with virtually no bloatware on it was a toshiba.
