Hello,

I have a kindle dxg with a 2.5.5 firmware. I successfully installed the 0.4 jailbreak from Yifan Lu. I downloaded the 2.5.8 update from amazon and put it in the root folder of my kindle and tried to update it. It always tells me that the update is not successful. On the amazon page it says that this update is for kindles prior 2.5 so isnt it possible for mine? Do you need 3G running for the update?
Depsite that problem I tried to update to 3.2.1 but dont understand how to do it without a "host" kindle how it is discribed in Yifan Lu install instructions. Can someone help me with that?
