I voted no, I don't pay attention to who publishes the book. If it's an author I like, or a book in the genre I like and the price is right, I'll buy it.
One thing I have noticed though are that most of the books I've bought that were published by Penguin have a lot of errors, mostly typos. Not enough that I would stop reading the book, but enough that I've noticed they're all by the same publisher.
