Why not jailbreak the Fire and treat it like an Android tablet? Put a Kindle app on it and register the app with your Amazon account. Amazon doesn't know what device it's on. All they know is that you have an Android device associated with that registered app. Your content will go to that app in the same manner as an actual Kindle device.

For me, I have 1 registered Kindle (KK) and 6 registered Kindle apps (2 Android, 1 Windows PC, 1 Kindle Cloud Reader, 1 Apple iOS, and 1 webOS).
