Yes I managed to find some other threads in a different part of this forum. I did an epub to epub conversion within Calibre, with the new cover in place. It now appears as the front cover within Kobo. The other cover is also there, but can obviously be ignored. At least now in the sleep mode the cover that I want appears on the screen.
