Dang. As a life-long sufferer of insomnia and with a husband who can sleep through everything I tend to forget that other people can't have a laptop in bed. I know, the bed/bedroom is supposed to be distraction free for insomnia, but that theory never panned out for me personally so it's better if I can do something that is distracting.

And, I know it's not out yet and not the right size, but have you seen the new Nook with the light? Would that be enough light to read by if you weren't reading a comic? Our B&N doesn't even have one in the shop for anyone to see despite it's signs.

For some people it's the light that's distracting, for others it's the physical typing or whatever, so if it was a light issue, a big tablet or eink reader that needs a light end up being the same distraction level for the partner kwim?
