When you press a button, the light becomes green.
So when the page is long to change, I check to see if the change page command was actually registered and is taking a bit of time or if I need to press again.
This is the same reason I look at the light. Sometimes I'm not sure if a button press has been registered. If the light is green at least I know I hit the button hard enough to register. If the light goes out and the page doesn't change I have to hit it again anyway. This doesn't happen as much with the new firmware though.
