Don't see why not. After all, if NCSoft/ArenaNet can do it for the upcoming Guild Wars 2 (where you have to buy a version of the game matching your EU/rest-of-world region to log in and play - and be locked out if you travel or move to the other region and don't buy the copy for that region, though even then that counts as a separate account so that you won't have access to your existing characters!), it should be no problem for Amazon or any other bookseller.
