If I can get an ebook for about 25% off "cover" price and it's one I want to read, I'll buy it. That's the same price I'd expect to pay for a print book (assuming it's available somewhere on sale).
If it's an ebook with an even lower price, I'll happily buy it.
If the Big 6 hadn't locked their Agency prices into the "cover" price, I probably never would have cared about the price that the price was fixed and couldn't be discounted.
