If I want t purchase a specific eBook for someone who has a Kindle, I should be able to with no problem. But with Amazon, I have a problem. But it might be an interesting idea to contact Amazon on this issue and see what happens, But I know if I purchase an eBook from Fictionwise or BooksOnBoard, I can do so and give said book to someone else.
