Booklover6, I'm happy that your problem seems to be solved!

I now have over 5,000 ebooks and active content archived at Amazon, with less than 30 of those loaded on my 3G Kindle 3. I have had two K3s. I connect to Amazon every day via 3G to check for new special offers. My devices have not had the spontaneous rebooting problem despite having so many books archived.

By "reboot" do you mean a full reboot, where the boy under the tree appears with a progress bar displayed while the device comes back to life? Or are you talking about flickering? My device does flicker (sometimes several times) after connecting to Amazon or when it's disconnected from the computer during/after charging. I consider that normal behavior.
