Wonder what they mean by that? Initially as in they'll eventually sell them DRM free to allow other non-kindle owners to buy from Amazon?

Wish they would sell DRM free though and in at least kindle(mobi) and epub formats so non-kindle owners can buy the books. Get non-amazon customers to start shopping on Amazon and perhaps some will later convert to a kindle. Of course they take the risk that the reverse may occur too.
