Memory pressure is high on a KDX, even more so when you run K3 software. The OOM Killer will hit the framework and voila, "restart" (I don't think it's actually a restart of the device, it's rather a restart of the Amazon framework).

many thanks for your reply
1. I will trying increse the reader cache to 15 MB ,could that helpful ?
2. Well,i try the launchpad shortcut "shift+A" which define as "restart Amazon kindle framework",then "shift +R " define as "reboot".
What the surface difference is the "reboot" show the message "Wait a moment while your kindle starts up" and the "restart framework" not.
As you said, i DID got a "a restart of the Amazon framework"
well ,I can't figure out the real difference ,since finding no topic on it.
(maybe i search it with incorrect keyword)
in addition:
I google "OOM Killer ",and learn more about linux , thx.
