My desire to replace a particular e-reader is a cost/benefit ratio analysis. Does a reader have sufficient new capabilities at a low enough cost for me to justify replacing my current reader.

When I make that analysis in my head with my ipad 1, I didn't upgrade for ipad 2 and don't plan to for ipad 3.

When I made that analysis in my head for K4 non touch vs my K2, it was a no brainer. Smaller, lighter, pearl eink screen, my wife wanted the K2 for her and for 79 bucks! I upgraded.
