Well, they *were* available (out of print) so whoever last had the rights chose not to renew. It goes without saying that the other publishers didn't value them as much as Amazon.
And, let's face it; these are old, dated titles. Not likely to show up on the NYT "bestsellers" list are they? They really don't fit with the BPH business model...
