Newer isn't always better though to some of us. I for one think the T-1 was a step down from the x50 series of readers both in quality of the build and software features. So for myself, I can dream that they'll go back to the quality of the x50s (metal vs plastic), but I'm not holding my breath.

Which is why I bought a 2nd new 350 for myself months ago as my spare.
I also like X50 series much better, 950 is my favorite...
