The problem is with the Goodreads servers as I mentioned above - regardless of location. The only question mark in my mind is how "temporary" the problem is. If you look back through this (ever growing) thread you will see this sort of thing has happened before, and usually within a few days it gets fixed. Obviously nothing has been changed in the plugin, so the "fault" lies entirely with Goodreads.
