I use the calibre interface to send books to my reader instead of fetching books from calbre from within the reader if that makes sence

I have calibre set up to send the books to my specific folder on my reader and the reader set up to import books from that folder.
You will need to set up the device plugin (in calibre preferences/plugins/device interface plugins/"whatever device plugin you use") to set the path to your chosen folder. Once set up it works a treat for me.
