This book was a bit dull in places. Rather too much laboured detail on the spying front. I did find those parts excellent for falling to sleep — a page or two and I was dropping off.

However, it was just good enough to persevere with, and I'm glad I did. The eventual reveal was well worth it. I just wish I had seen what was going on in the big picture, but I didn't get it right at all.

So I'm a bit torn on this one. The main plot idea is splendid. I just found the implementation rather dull.

Next up: The Moving Finger by Agatha Christie.
