I agree, it is Bujold. I've been suckered into buying eArcs by the free crack on the bar before, but I try really hard not pay over $10 for fiction any more. Sometimes I'm weak. I don't really mind paying $7 or $8 for fiction, but it pretty much has to be something I'm sure I'll like. I'm willing to spend $1 or $2 to try something. I refuse to buy anything with DRM on it. It's bad enough on freebies.
