Amazon just came out with a new release for the Touch, 5.1.0. On the off-chance that they fixed the freezing problem with the catalog, I downloaded and tested it. Alas, the Touch still freezes when I make any book selection at all. The sections look nice--the problem only happens when I actually want to read the synopsis of a particular book. Oh well.

And after I closed the catalog, I tried to reopen it by clicking on the title. And the freeze occurred there, before the catalog even opened. So it's two steps back. Ugh.
