Update: I remained on the fence for a few weeks, buy just got an unexpected bonus at work, so I got an iPad 2 while they were on sale and have no regrets. I don't care about the retina and I was concerned that the iPad 3 was actually a bit heavier than the iPad 2. My iPad 1 was getting a bit sluggish and the 2 is blazingly fast compared to the 1. I am very happy with the 2 i got and I think that the sale of my 1 combined Si my little windfall will make this a virtually free upgrade for me.
