The best solution I have is to edit either your book descriptions, or your author descriptions (or both) on sites like Amazon, and add links to your blogs and other social media sites with urgings to subscribe to keep up with the author's goings-on. This phases out the newsletter in favor of the blogs, Facebook, Twitter, or whatever you use.

Not a bad idea to add pages to the blog just for freebies... why not?
