It would be nice if they could address, and fix, the issue. My replacement still does it. I am just not going to worry about it. I put my calendar and sticky not content back on and have around 300 books on it. I have sync turned off on the web site, but I do turn wifi on daily to get my news and blogs. Just have to remind myself not to put too many books on it.
