That's something I struggle with when it comes to watching movies first or reading the books. I tend to end up watching the movie first anyway knowing that even though I'll now picture some things as they were in the films, I'll get much more out of the books in terms of depth. Whilst the other way around, I find I don't enjoy a film as much because they cut out too much from the book or changed too much.

Wonder if most book readers prefer to read book first then film or vice-versa.
