That shouldn't be a problem, as you can create a "Library" within Calibre for each person if you want.

With Calibre open, click the "Library" button and chose "Switch/Create Library". You're given an option to create a new library. Hit the "Browse" icon on the other side of the "New Location" field and then create a new folder for your new library and give it the name you want it to use. Then select "Create an empty library at the new location".

Then you can go to the Library button and 'Quick Switch" between one library and another. The only time you can't switch is when Calibre is in the middle of running a job.

I have 21 different libraries to keep all my files sorted, and switch between them all the time. You can also copy books from one library to another. Very handy.
