Makes sense to me. While I'd speculate that people who read the most are the most likely to have an ereader and that the availability of quality, free reading material probably increases the likelyhood that one will crack a book more often, I have to anecdotally admit that I read more since purchasing an ereader.

Yesterday I had to have my wife's car inspected. I did not plan on hanging out for eight hours, but I grabbed my Fire with the intent of doing a little surfing and checking out Pulse. I ended up reading a book for the last six hours of my wait.

For me, at least, the ereader has opened the door to impulse reading.
