I agree that Sigil should allow a Save (as) in a error state because you might want to do a second try at a second pass replace. (The first pass may only replace the opening tag. Pass 2 will complete the task, when a 1 shot replace just won't do) |
I just can't see this as high priority. I do a lot of 2 pass stuff but I've never felt compelled to save after pass 1 of 2. I save
before starting the tricky stuff , and again
after it's all done.
I read this stuff about "instability" but I have never lost work due to a sigil crash & cannot recall it ever crashing while editing a book
it would be nice though, in a separate thread, so see and comment on what enhancements
are currently planned/wishlisted
