It figures that it wouldn't be the smartest girlfriend that would confer status. Whenever people posit a future in which "man" has evolved into some sort of big brained super whiz ... I simply remind them that as long as intelligent men prefer looks over brains, the human race will retain its current level of intelligence.
Looked up "female" .... the definition doesn't seem to support your point.
