My K3 (KK) has a text file called "My Clippings" containing highlights/notes in a readable form. I can't find this file in the KF. As you said, all the information seems to be contained in an MBP file.

Apparently, there is a Perl script to extract notes from the MBP file, if you can discover what that is.
