That is exactly the point: It is NOT up to the content creators to decide whether or not they get to take money out of your wallet/purse, it is up to the owner of the wallet/purse. They offer the content, the consumer decides whether or not to keep a copy for their personal use.
This idea of forcing someone to pay is simply not acceptable. That is the theft part...
