Yes, thats been suggested before. The thing is, it worked spontaneously as per my first post. I have not changed anything since then until installing the new router, but that is not responsible because until then, everything was the same. It cannot be the network, because it worked with the network. It worked when using a 3G broadband modem. Now it doesnt. I have not changed any settings on any of my devices except the information required to access the network.

The new (well its an old one, really, I should be saying replacement) router is working a treat with everything else (especially streaming to the AppleTV, and iDevices via Plex)... but the inability to use calibre with Stanza persists.

[edit] and right this minute, 20 mins after my last failed attempt, its decided to work, again. I haven't changed a thing.

Do people have a particular order of doing things? Like: Open calibre, wait for the server to start, then open Stanza. Open stanza's get books and then Calibre. Mind you, not sure why I ask, because I've tried it every which way when it fails.
