Well, ATD, I'm not surprised, it was merely a comment, not an indication of astonishment. And I simply said how I felt about the practice.
And I didn't write a complaint of any length directly to you, but to the MR Community - as I said, I was unaware you were responsible for all the tags. The example I used was exactly that, an example of a factor I wanted to know people's thoughts on, which I didn't need to such an extent - not just having a go at you, although I appreciate
your thoughts on it, of course.
So in fact I did say what I "meant" i.e. asking a question, and indicating my own feelings on the subject.
And as for your opinion that the work I only now realise you do in this area, is a waste of time, I'm afraid I can't comment, only you know how that stacks up, but I am surprised you should think that. These detailed tags aren't my cup of java, but that doesn't apply for a lot of other members.
So, I appreciate it might be a lot of work, but hardly a waste of time, surely. Rather a service that some like to have, as I'm sure many more will confirm.
