Aren't songs you buy on iTunes watermarked?
Watermarking is a great compromise. We get what we want, full use without DRM, and there is some protection for authors and publishers. I am not paranoid about this and would greatly welcome it if others followed in Pottermore's footsteps. To demand that there is no protection at all would be unreasonable.
