I have the ad-enabled Kindle, but am thinking about removing the ads - I wonder if this will be possible? I tried to remove the ads but it didn't work, I think because I'm based in the UK and have a UK address/credit card.

Do you think I will be able to remove the adverts when the Kindle Touch arrives in the UK?

Thanks
If it is that important to you, you can try one of two things.

1.)Use your UK credit card with a US address. Just find a real address from the internet, often they don't do an address check.

2.)If the above fails, you can get a USunlocked card. Kind of overkill just to remove the ads, if you ask me though. It might come in handy for other US purchases, though.
