It has taken 18 months for apple to settle. They could have solved this much faster and without leaving a bitter taste of "our way, or the highway".

I realize we have different opinions of Apple, so I'd like to get your thinking on this: don't a lot of phones have antenna issues and doesn't it seem unfair that Apple is the only one that gets repeatedly raked over the coals for this? I still remember reading an instruction booklet for a Nokia phone that warns you about covering the antenna when you hold the phone. Is all this vitriol based on Jobs's bluntness?
