thanks to all that contributed to this! the alanine version has helped me a lot reading 2 columns scientific papers, but i also appreciate a lot the edit version that allows to jump between notes and the full screen feature.
If the code is not too complex I could try putting them together, or I could collaborate with someone to make this happen. It's unfortunate that we have to choose one functionality over another.

So is anybody interested in this?
