I prefer ebooks, but they are not always suitable or available as others have mentioned.
The other issue is that some ebooks are poorly formated and/or edited. I was looking at picking up Dune, but there are reviews for the kindle version talking about poor editing and formatting. The orignal review was from 2009 and as of Dec 2011 it still haven't been fixed. Not to mention the price of this poorly formated/edited ebook.
I have run across this with some other books too. One was so badly formated that it was unreadable.
The last pbook, for me, was the Thirty Year War. For now, my kids read pbooks.
