My thoughts exactly. There's no doubt that the Treo's hardware can, indeed, run Windows Mobile. It isn't that difficult to make Windows CE run on a handheld device, just like it isn't difficult to make Windows XP run on a desktop computer. (I wouldn't be surprised if there was a pre-production LifeDrive or T|5 running WM.)
I'm still skeptical as to whether Palm will actually
release this WM-powered Treo. I'll believe it when I see the press release.
