Only Connect is a rather good quiz show. The only other quiz show on TV I like at the moment is Pointless, where the aim is to get an answer to a question that no-one else (in a survey of 100 random people) got.

OK, a probability and gambling question

I have £155 pounds at a (European) casino with a roulette table.
I need to have £160 by the time I leave the casino for reasons that we needn't go into.
Because this is a puzzle, we'll ignore any other ways I might get another £5 and assume that I have to try to get it by playing at roulette.

What strategy gives me the best odds of getting £160 or more? And what are the chances that I'll succeed if I follow this strategy?
