I've emailed Apple a couple of times trying to find out what the issue is on this particular error message and their response that they are aware of the problem but I haven't heard a thing. Frustrating – as I am trying to get my client's epub published.

So, I tried the "bananas" thing and I got back the same message except now it says "bananas".

ERROR: ERROR ITMS-9000: "OEBPS/Text/Section0004.xhtml(109): 'Bananas': fragment identifier is not defined in 'OEBPS/Text/Section0008.xhtml'" at Book (MZItmspBookPackage)
[2012-03-31 11:18:03 PDT] <main> DBG-X: The error code is: 1102

Can anyone tell me what I might have done wrong? I am attaching the code from Section0004 (the toc) and the first lines of code where I think (not sure) where the error is in Section0008. Or, is the issue in my toc.ncx file? I'm lost.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
